The Messer Cutting MetalMaster Xcel delivers versatile multi-tool cutting capability combining fiber laser technology with plasma cutting for comprehensive metal processing. As Messer's flagship multi-process platform, it addresses the needs of fabricators requiring flexibility across different material types and thicknesses on a single machine.

Available with fiber laser power from 4kW to 15kW, the MetalMaster Xcel offers cutting widths from 6 to 10 feet and lengths from 10 to 55 feet. Positioning speeds reach 3000 ipm with acceleration up to 0.5G, handling materials from 26 gauge to 2-3 inches thick. The platform can be equipped with one or two plasma or fiber laser heads, plus plasma beveling units including Deltae and Bevel-R.

The Global Connect CNC control integrates OmniFab Software with Windows-based operation and embedded cutting database for repeatable performance. Two shuttle capacity options accommodate varying material thicknesses. Key features include self-cleaning Slagger table, auto alignment, auto optics focusing, auto gas pressure adjustment, and automatic nozzle cleaning. Lower maintenance requirements than CO2 lasers contribute to reduced downtime. IoT compatibility enables remote monitoring and factory integration. Processing mild steel, stainless, and aluminum, the MetalMaster Xcel serves shipbuilding, construction, and heavy equipment industries.
