nLIGHT Alta fiber laser sources represent American precision engineering for industrial cutting, welding, and material processing applications. Power tunability from 5% to 100% enables flexible process optimization. Modulation frequencies up to 100kHz with rise/fall times less than 5µs allow faster piercing and fine feature processing with minimal heat-affected zones. Random polarization ensures consistent multi-axis cutting performance.

Key features include proprietary back reflection isolation for uninterrupted full-power processing of highly reflective materials, modular design for easy field serviceability and maximum uptime, programmable pulse shaping (Prime versions) for customized process optimization, and optional live process monitoring for closed-loop quality control. Available with QBH connector and fiber lengths to 20m.
