Available with IPG fiber laser sources from 3kW to 12kW, the OPTIPLEX NEXUS features a 3100×1580mm work area with helical rack and pinion positioning achieving accuracy of 0.0002"/500mm. The innovative Multi-Control Torch automatically monitors piercing and cutting operations, making real-time adjustments or pausing when anomalies are detected to ensure consistent quality and maximum throughput.

Mazak's Intelligent Technology suite includes automatic nozzle changing, auto focus position, focus detection, auto profiler calibration, nozzle cleaning, beam diameter control, pierce detection, plasma detection, and burn detection—reducing operator dependency and enabling unattended production. The PreviewG 19-inch LCD touchscreen control provides tablet-like ease of use. Cutting capabilities span mild steel to 25mm, stainless to 30mm, aluminum to 30mm, brass to 15mm, and copper to 12mm.
