Typically 1–4kW fiber laser power is recommended for clean cutting at this thickness with nitrogen assist.
Nitrogen is preferred for stainless steel to prevent oxidation and achieve clean, bright edges. Oxygen can be used for thicker sections but leaves a dark oxide layer.
